Pretty Little Details at the KS SOCO Boutique

From the streets of Austin's famous South Congress District, the bright and shiny gems gleaming in the windows of my new store could easily be mistaken for candy. But walk through the doors of Kendra Scott and you'll enter a girl's paradise: hundreds of brilliantly colored baubles adorn beautiful plants and sculptural pieces, while an occasional inviting bird perches nearby. The organic decor provides the perfect nest for some of my most popular jewelry. In case you haven't made it out, here's an up-close glance of our new Austin home.

This custom designed medallion featuring the Kendra Scott signature pattern covers the wall behind our Color Bar. The compartments containing the glass beads are interchangeable allowing us the versatility to change the colors according to the season.

Unique and beautiful plants such as this one keep the space looking fresh. All of the arrangements were done by Merveille Event and Design in Austin.

Gorgeous statement necklaces such as this Addy in Gold display beautifully on our Bridal table in the store.

Precious Kendra Scott signature birds such as this one perch on the tables and jewelry cases making our gems, such as this Carly Botanical Pendant Necklace and Hope Pendant Necklace, all the more inviting.

Two of new Spring 2011 Tela Rings in Chalcedony look like pieces of treasure sitting atop a bed of coral reef on the center table in the new space (they will soon be availble on the website in an array of gorgeous spring colors!).

A bowl of our Poppy rings look tasty enough to eat, but don't worry! You can satisfy your candy craving by grabbing a little chocolate treat in the bowl beside it.

A pair of Sari Earrings in Chalcedony dangle from a Merveille arrangement behind our Bridal and Special Event cases.

Though I'm always sad to see the holidays come to an end, the awards shows that the new year brings in are always an exciting thing to look forward to, and you can bet I tuned into this year's fabulous Golden Globe Awards. I watched an hour before the show began to see what the stars wore on the red carpet and I was drooling over the amazing baubles and gems that the celebs paired with their gorgeous gowns.
