One of our favorite celebs, Hillary Duff, was seen strutting the red carpet at the Soul Surfer premiere yesterday, March 30th, rocking Kendra Scott once again! Hilary looked chic and fabulous at Hollywood's ArcLight Cinerama Dome in an adorable horizontally striped purple skirt, a black cropped shirt, a sparkly pink clutch, and our popular Karina Earrings in Gold. The feather detailed earrings gave Hilary's edgy-chic look a bit of a contrasting earthy feel. Read on to see how to get Hilary's classy and glamorous look!
To get Hilary's perfect night-out-on-the-town look, pair this Black Silk Spoke Neckline Tee from Topshop and with this Ronny Kobo striped mini skirt from National Jean Company.
Hilary knows how to accessorize the right way! If you LOVE her amazing black wedge heels and sparkly clutch, check out these Steve Madden Black Suede "Wondurr" Wedges and if you can afford to splurge, add on the same exact Anya Hindmarch Valorie Glitter Clutch in Pink that Hilary has.
And for the finishing touch on this spectacular outfit, try my Karina Earrings in Gold, and you'll be looking like you just stepped off of the red carpet!
For the first look in our spring/summer video shoot, we used two staples that just about every girl has in their closet: a sassy little black dress worn with a chic black blazer. Whether the sexy LBD is worn by itself for a night out on the town or is worn with a jacket for a cooler night or day, this look is a go-to for any party or event. When paired with stunning and vibrant Kendra Scott turquoise jewelry (my absolute favorite stone), this outfit goes from ordinary to absolutely extraordinary, and is sure to wow any crowd. Read on to find out how you can get this look!
Model Kaki has her hair styled in a trendy and sophisticated french braid up-do and wears the Carmella Stud Earrings, the Zahara Statement Pendant Necklace (coming to the site soon), the Curry Necklace (coming to the site soon), and the Abena Cuff, all in bright and beautiful turquoise.
To get Kaki's classic and pulled together look, check out this adorable BCBG Strapless Crepe Dress which would look great on its own or paired with this Kenneth Cole Scrunch Sleeve Blazer from Nordstrom.
Complete your look with some pops of beautiful turquoise with the Carmela Earrings in Blue Iris, the Abena Cuff in Turquoise, and the Lennox Necklace in Turquoise.
Last week we transformed the Kendra Scott SOCO boutique into a production studio as I filmed a new video featuring fashion forward looks utilizing some of my favorite pieces from my Spring/Summer Collection. For the video, I had fun styling three gorgeous ladies and taking their unique style from the ordinary to the extraordinary with make-up, edgy new hairstyles and, of course, to-die-for jewels! Stay tuned for the video, but for now take a look at some of the footage from behind the scenes.
Selected nature and antique inspired gems in vibrant hues are beautifully displayed in the design room for the shoot.
Stars like Heidi Klum and Anne Hathaway are showing that the back, is back! Why? It's sexy, suggestive, and somewhat mysterious. I have noticed that celebrities are showing off a little skin and rocking backless dresses at elegant award shows. These ladies radiate beauty and are "bringing sexy back," as Justin Timberlake would say! I have seen this trend at awards shows like the recent 2011 Grammys, and even on the streets of South Congress in Austin. Summer is just around the corner, and in order to cool down from the hot and humid Texas weather, backless tops, rompers, and dresses will definitely be my go to outfits for the next few months! Check out some shabby chic and affordable backless numbers at stores like Urban Outfitters, Victoria Secret, BCBG, and Zara.

Here at Kendra Scott Design, we have a bit of an obsession with color, so you can imagine my excitement when the March issues of both Fitness Magazine and Chicago Magazine brilliantly paired some of my most vibrant pieces with complimentary colors that really made the gorgeous hues pop! When wearing a color, adding its complimentary color (the color opposite to it on the color wheel) as an accessory is a great and unexpected way to accentuate both shades.
Chicago Magazine complimented this amazing red printed Oscar de la Renta dress with the Kendra Scott Ignacia Necklace in Malachite.
Fitness Magazine paired the Kendra Scott Fina Earrings in Crush with a light blue striped top and navy cropped pants, making an adorable outfit that's perfect for a spring outing.
Mixing pairs of complimentary colors has been a trend on the Spring 2011 runways, especially the orange and blue complimentary mix. Tory Burch, Prada, Christian Dior, and Costume National all incorporated this eye-catching mix into their lines. In case you want to try this look out for spring, here are some of my suggestions!
In the likes of Fitness Magazine's photo shoot, Mod Cloth's Jam Jamboree Dress is a perfect match for my Fina Earrings in Crush.
Though originally part of my holiday collection, my Ignacia Necklace in Malachite is ready for spring when paired with Alice + Olivia's Red Multi-Colored Dress, which is very similar to the amazing Oscar de la Renta dress that was featured in the Chicago Magazine photo.
J. Crew's Gingham Vintage Schoolboy Shirt in Melon looks fun and flirty when paired with my Daphiney Earrings in Splash.
My Delia Necklace in Cool adds a bright and funky statement to this ASOS Premium Oversized Cutwork Top.
The colors in Diane von Furstenberg's Keoni Ruffle Blouse and my Wren Earrings in Green compliment each other to make a perfect spring ensemble.
